"Hi everyone! I'm Melissa, and while I didn't do Kelsey's last challenge, I started working with her once I got engaged and started #sweatingforthewedding last June! She made a kick-ass customized program for me that has been effective and functional, which is HUGE since I'm a police officer. "So i began noticing mid winter-spring that i had totally let my body get to a place i was no longer happy with. A lot had changed in my life and i realized it was time to step it up. Kelsey not only being a good friend of mine turned into being my fitness saving grace. Fitness has always been a part of my life but struggling with weight gain, being self conscious and just overall having no motivation to get moving. We started off with a simple plan to help build muscle and get me back into a routine, after finally getting my groove back she set me up on a long term plan that was beyond exciting for me. "I've been struggling with my weight and body image for awhile. Growing up i wanted to be skinny. When i lost my mom, i became skinnier than i thought my body was capable of. But not from being healthy. I struggled to put weight on and lived with the constant "you're too skinny" and i hated it. And i hated it the most because i know it wasn't because i worked for it. When i saw you posting offering guidance i figured it was time to take a chance. I wanted to not just be skinny, but be healthy. and knowing you for so many years and watching you via social media change your lifestyle to what it is now, i knew you could help me. In the first week i saw a huge difference and that was without me even being 100% dedicated.

"Sooo I went wedding dress shopping on Saturday. It was my first appointment, and I found THE dress that day! I felt SO good in it, and I don't think I would've felt so good had i not started working with you. Working with Kelsey helped provide me the structure and motivation I needed to reach the next level for my physical journey. During our programming I was able to reach new prs for my bench, deadlifts and squats. We worked together, set goals and she helped me to achieve them by holding me accountable and remaining active and invested as I progressed. Kelsey's programs, coaching and most of all. active support are great to help anyone to meet whatever goals they set out.

And ive started working out much more and im already down 5 pounds!!! My eating has gotten so much better too!
